What our customers write about us

CHANTELLE BAILEY

My daughter absolutely loved Nature Camp. She got to do craft projects, learned about local plants and animals, and loved all of the fun games that they played. She had so much fun, that when the week was over she asked if she could go to the second session! We signed her up again and it was even better, because they didn't do the same things. Absolutely the best value summer camp she has been to!

Any child between ages 8 to 14 who has an interest in the outdoors. This camp is also great for those who may be timid in nature and want to learn how to interact with nature more.

> WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A NATURE CAMP?

According to the National Wildlife Federation, "connecting children and nature has important health benefits. Studies show outdoor time helps children grow lean and strong, enhances imaginations and attention spans, decreases aggression, and boosts classroom performance. In addition, children who spend time in nature regularly are shown to become better stewards of the environment."

> WHAT IS COYOTE MENTORING?

Coyote Mentoring is the ancient, worldwide legacy of hunter-gatherer cultures who surrounded their children with "Invisible Schooling." This way of teaching will hone students' senses and connect their imagination to the natural world.

> WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD EXPECT TO DO AT THE SUMMER CAMP?

Play games that teach awareness of self and nature. Explore, wonder, and ask questions. Learn some primitive skills and bring home something each day made from nature.
